About the Role

A finance executive is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing an organization's financial operations. This role involves managing financial strategies, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing leadership and guidance to finance teams.

The specific responsibilities of a finance executive may vary depending on the organization's size and industry, but generally include:

1) Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.

2) Managing the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial projections and effective resource allocation.

3) Analyzing financial data and providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making.

4) Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and laws, and working with auditors to facilitate external audits.

5) Overseeing the finance team and managing financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

6) Building relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities, and providing regular updates on the company's financial performance.

7) Developing and implementing financial controls and risk management strategies to minimize financial risk and protect the organization's assets.

8) Participating in strategic planning and providing financial guidance to support the company's growth and expansion initiatives.


Requirements

  • Possess at least a min. Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business field.

  • Knowledge of Auto Count and Excel is essential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented and possess interpersonal skills .

  • High level of accuracy, integrity, commitment, and sense of urgency.

  • Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws and regulations.

  • At least 2-year of relevant AR / AP / Full Set work experience in the FMCG accounting field.
